'Digital lighting' is the integration of video into lighting. The lighting designer / operator has the ability to trigger video clips / effects directly from a lighting console by way of a media server. This is normally seen either when video is 'pixel mapped' onto LED lighting fixtures / 'soft LED' (LED drapes / flexible panels) or projected / shown on high res LED backdrops. As well as having extensive knowledge of these systems, I also create and design content for playback on such systems, utilizing computer software, video and still camera footage as well as 3D modelling.
