Moondial

A temporary time based light installation - Aug '09

Moondial is a time based light installation, utilising the north and south fascias of the bell tower to create a kind of night time sundial.

The installation comprises of a selection of colour changing LED light fixtures position at the base of the north and south sides of the bell tower and controlled by time during the hours of darkness.

It is hoped that the design will not only accentuate the bell tower and clock face but also heighten awareness for the church during the hours of darkness.
